Managing the on-boarding, testing and implementation of all new Client connectivity for electronic execution initiatives for exchange traded securities in the region involving GES activities.
A thorough understanding of trading connectivity products and services including DMA, FIX DMA, Low latency DMA, ISVs, OMSs, EMSs and the ability to manage the conceptual design and delivery of multiple initiatives. These intiatives include delivering spohisticated solutions for FIX DMA, trading terminals, ultra low latency DMA systems & infrastructure layouts.
Assesses the quality of implemented pre- and post-trade controls, including organisation and infrastructure, at the client side.
Initiates, coordinates and implements Client Risk Reviews of OMS DMA clients, including:
- Assess the implementation of management and operational controls within the client organisation.
- Assess the implementation of pre- and post-trade risk controls.
- Assess the execution risk.
- Assess the architecture, IT development and general IT Controls surrounding their OMS.
- Assess the business continuity controls of the client organisation.
- Discuss and reports results with clients and AAC management.
- Coordination and completion of Client Risk Questionnaires
Coordination amongst internal teams (Commercial, Sales, Development Managers, IT, Risk, Compliance etc) to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of services to, and technical risk management of Clients.
Advise regarding market developments and regulatory change as relevant to the regional execution of GES strategy or initiatives, taking into account the needs of various DMA clients
Overall project coordination and delivery management for global projects involving trading platforms, new markets, regulatory compliance initiatives and risk.
Ability to deliver high quality presentations, timelines, analysis and reports for clients, stakeholders and management.
Advise on and prioritise improvements to strengthen the quality of risk assurance
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize multiple streams of work while managing stakeholder expectations.
Coordinates changes, realises the necessary support and organises projects (environments) in which changes are implemented.
