A 47-year-old employee was found dead at SenseTime, a leading artificial intelligence player in China, last Saturday, after his coworkers found him unconscious at the office. The incident has drawn attention to the punishing work schedule at tech firms in mainland China.
The Chief of Staff will play an integral role within Operational Committee to optimize the company’s strategic planning processes, drive strategy to execution across various business units and enforce collaboration to visualize our overall business growth strategy. Key accountabilities of the Chief of Staff would include:
Act as a strategist, liaison, influencer, and aggregator to ensure synergies and performance cross business & functional units enabling the company's highest priorities / initiatives to succeed;
Facilitate the balance of cross BU priorities, agendas and requirements in the best interest of the Group to incubate, innovate & test drive ideas towards the right strategic outcomes;
Drive cradle-to-grave corporate strategic imperatives portfolio management across a distributed set of internal and external stakeholders by fostering collaboration and leading virtual teams to align resource for agile delivery of action plans & business results; and
Orchestrate team communications with speed, impact and quality of information flows.
