So you may implement it differently
Small networks are different to big networks

Then it's just implementing the paper
which should not be difficult unless the paper is poorly written

And involves a lot of dynamic parts that is managed by software
So now network engineers need to know coding too
in traditional networking each device operate on its own, occasionally talking to other neighbors with protocols, and have no idea on the whole network topology
So forwarding decisions are decided solely on fields that's available on a single device
Their network is very interesting
They can micromanage their players
Still need those traditional protocols but with a twist
And the most demanding tasks are data transfer from dcs, which can be optimized with some heuristics
