Despite early gains yesterday, US markets finished lower, as the Nasdaq closed down 2.9%. Several factors impacted tech stocks, such as Facebook’s stock being downgraded by Merrill Lynch and a report that Nvidia is suspending self-driving car tests, following a fatal accident involving an Uber car using its technology. Nvidia Crashed 7.76% and Facebook tumbled 4.9%, joined by Microsoft (-4.3%), Apple (-2.56%), Google (-4.57%), Amazon (-3.78%) and Netflix (-6.14%). The Dow Jones and S&P 500 closed 1.4% and 1.7% down respectively.
